Gabriela Nicolescu
Geboren in Bukarest, Rumänien. Studium mit Diplomabschluss an der Schule für Choreographie Bukarest (Vaganova Lehre).Weitere Ausbildung in der Schule für Choreographie St. Petersburg und am Kirov-Theater in dem Fachbereich klassisches Ballett (klassischer Stil, Halbcharakterrollen). Von 1962 bis 1974 war sie bei der Staatsoper Bukarest und von 1974 bis 1985 war sie beimStaatstheater am Gärtnerplatz München als Solo Ballerina engagiert. In beiden Theater übernahm sie mehrere Hauptrollen und Solopartien. Darüberhinaus wurden zahlreicheAuftritte auf den ausländlichen Bühnen durchgeführt (Frankreich, Italien, Spanien, Portugal, Österreich, Griechenland, Russland, Tschechien, Iran, Indien, Kuba, und andere). Seit 1981 unterrichtete Frau Nicolescu an der Ballett-Akademie, Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. Im Jahr 2001 wurde ihr den Titel Honorarprofessorin von dem Bayerischen Kultus-Ministerium erteilt.
Born in Bucharest, Romania. Graduated from the Bucharest School of Choreography (Vaganova teaching).
